The United States Agency for International Development, or USAID’s goal is to promote a more democratic and prosperous Central America. To achieve these goals they work on the following: expanding an equitable access to productive resources and markets, sustaining management of selected natural resources and biodiversity, sustaining improvements in family health, and promoting a more responsive democratic processes with greater citizen participation. USAID also collaborates it’s efforts with various organizations and governments.
