Developmental and Relief Organizations

in Central America

Compiled by Laura Dennis, Lindsay Mordan, and Maryam Fathi

Over the years the world community has recognized the need for aid in Central America and has responded with a variety of ongoing developmental projects.  The purpose of this web site is to convey to you the various organizations and agencies that were working on developmental and relief projects for the past couple decades.  The focus of this site is on the four countries hit hardest by Hurricane Mitch in 1998.  They are Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

We hope you find this site helpful and informative in grasping a better understanding of the developmental situation in Central America.
