El Salvador:  the most industrialized nation in central America. Textiles, leather, clothing, food, tobacco, furniture, wood, metals, and chemicals.

Honduras:  the industry is growing.  Cement, cotton, sugar, wood, textiles, detergents, chemicals, light metals, and food.

Nicaragua: cement, agricultural chemicals, petroleum, metal, beer, soft drinks, food, and consumer goods.

Guatemala: The industry is slowing down.  Clothing, textiles, food, cosmetics, chemicals, glassware, paper, and furniture.
